WHAT IS PRP THERAPY?
Nurse practitioner Briana Torrey is excited to perform platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy at Brisa Aesthetics to help refresh your facial appearance. PRP therapy is one of the most sought-after cosmetic procedures on the aesthetic market due to its natural method and exciting results. This advanced procedure utilizes your own plasma to stimulate your skin, reducing the prevalence of wrinkles.
PRP therapy can also be combined with other treatments, such as microneedling, under-eye, and tear trough treatment to boost your results. If you want more information about PRP therapy, contact Brisa Aesthetics in Weymouth, MA to schedule a consultation. HOW DOES PRP THERAPY WORK?
Once you are seated comfortably in one of our private procedure rooms, a bit of blood will be taken from one of your arms and placed in a centrifuge machine. Typically, we remove around four tablespoons or one vial of blood. After approximately 15 minutes on the centrifuge machine, the blood components will separate and be ready for injection. We will place your condensed plasma into a sterile syringe and inject it into the treatment areas. PRP therapy usually only takes about five minutes, but this will vary for each patient.
